*專輯簡介： Revocation來自美國東岸，是近幾年獨立樂界快速竄紅的技術死金樂團，成軍至今已發行至第五張專輯。Revocation是由吉他手兼主唱David Davidson為首，並與學校好友Phil Dubois(鼓)、Anthony Buda (貝斯)共同組團。三人受到鞭笞金屬的影響甚深，尤其是Metallica、Pantera，並各自鑽研極限死金的領域，逐漸走向以高超演奏技術為導向的樂風。David Davidson更進一步往柏克萊音樂學院深造，並運用大量的多重節奏、爵士演奏手法在吉他當中，也因此帶領Revocation勇闖極限金屬界。這張專輯"Empire of the Obscene"，是Revocation於2008自己獨立製作並發行的作品，在2015年透過Metalblade廠牌重發。
